Amphibians have bilateral symmetry. This means they only have one point of symmetry on their body. If you were to cut them right down the middle, they would have the same aspects on both sides. Amphibians have some body structures that make them very unique creatures. Their skin is permeable which means that gasses and molecules can pass through their skin. This is how they breathe under water making them semi aquatic. Oxygens from the water can pass through the skin and go directly to their blood stream. Another structure is that they have poison glands in their skin. The poison glands can produce harmful waste that they use to protect themselves against predators.
