The life cycle for amphibians is very basic. All amphibians have similar life cycles. There are only a few species that have differences such as newts don't lose their tails when they become adults.
The female lays her eggs in a pond, lake or small body of water. Once the eggs hatch, out come tadpoles! The tadpoles, throughout their young life, grow legs and lose their tail. They soon grow into young frogs and then get older and older. Then those frogs will mate and lay eggs and the cycle starts all over again.
